Bahá'ís and their friends are always looking up the dates of Feasts and Holy Days. This is a quick reference to the Bahá'í Calendar and its most important dates.
The Bahá'í day ends and a new one begins at sunset; consequently, the day on which a Feast or Holy Day is observed begins at sunset of the day before the Gregorian Calendar dates given.
This symbol reveals additional details about a particular date or text. More on the proper time to celebrate or hold meetings of commemoration are explained by Shoghi Effendi in Principles of Bahá'í Administration pp. 56-57.
